Your financial contribution will support OWFI’s work on the ground including funding the Feminist School, the Al Mousawat Radio production, and covering unforeseen emergency rescue expenses. We also use these resources to bridge the funding gaps for the ongoing and increasing expenses of sheltering, providing medical and psycho-social services, food, clean water and clothes for the thousands of families we work with.

OWFI has been supported over the years by major funders who have trusted us to implement projects and see them to success. Our longest consist funder has been the Government of the Netherland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) whom we have been working with for ten years and who is one of our biggest supporters. OWFI has also received funding for five years for a project from the European Union. Our other major funders currently include The Oak Foundation, MADRE, Norad, The Global Fund for Women, the Nobel Women’s Initiative and Thaler Foundation, Vital Voices, Terres Des Femmes and the COC Nederland. Most of our funders regularly and consistently renew our work projects with them as they are always pleased with our results.

Some of our funders and supports from the past include: V-Day Foundation, MamaCash, Kvinna Till Kvinna, the Dutch Embassy in Baghdad, the Australian Embassy (AusAID) and Hivos.  ​
